About Mickey Harte

From Lifford, County Donegal, one of Ireland’s premier, modern-day singer/songwriters. Mickey has been a mainstay of the Irish popular music scene for more than 10 years. He has multiple Platinum records to his credit as well as many Top 20 hits on the Irish charts. His soon-to-be released album is expected to be his best work yet.

Mickey has traveled extensively, supported and collaborated with artists including Paul Brady, Shane MacGowan, The Saw Doctors, The Chieftains, Jack Tempchin (writer for ‘The Eagles’), Rob Burke, Kieran Goss, Francie Conway, Billy Farrell (Corrs, Westlife etc.), and Rory Gallagher (of ‘Revs’ fame),. He’s been on stages all over Ireland as well as Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland and the USA.

Throughout the years, Mickey has prolifically composed music. The new album, entitled “Forward to Reality” represents his best selections, those offering an amazingly diverse range of themes, sounds, and subjects. The album was recorded/produced in Chicago, USA (with John Condron) and well-demonstrates a very fresh, yet mature and innovative style. Mickey anticipates touring in both Ireland and the USA in support of Forward to Reality. Stay tuned!
